Rough Guac

Next time you're craving a tasty and satisfying snack or meal, consider trying our Rough Guac recipe. The chunks of avocado and other ingredients add a satisfying crunch and burst of flavour with each bite. Serve it as a dip with tortilla chips, spread it on toast or sandwiches, or use it as a topping for tacos, salads, or grilled meats. 


Serves 4 as a topping.


2 Avocados, ripe

1 Garlic Clove, finely grated

1 Long Green or Red Chilli, deseeded and finely chopped

2 to 3 Limes, juice

1/2 Tsp Salt

1/2 Cup Coriander, coarsely chopped & extra to serve



1. Coarsely mash avocado and incorporate all other ingredients until combined.

2. Check seasoning, adjust salt and lime if necessary.

3. Serve at once or cover the top with baking paper (make sure there are no large air pockets) to prevent browning.
