Spiced Chickpea Salad

Are you looking for a tasty and healthy meal option that is quick and easy to prepare? Look no further than a spiced chickpea salad! This pairs perfectly with crispy Jocelyn's Provisions Sourdough Bread and Goldstreet Jersey Cheese.


Serves 4 as a side.


400g Chickpeas, drained

2 Tbsp Olive Oil

1 Tsp Cumin, ground

1 Tsp Cardamom, ground

1/2 Tsp Mint, dried

1/4 Tsp Salt

2 Lebanese Cucumbers, diced

1 Punnet Cherry Tomatoes, halved

1 Red Onion, diced

1/4 Cup Coriander, chopped

1/4 Cup Parsley, chopped



1 1/2 Tbsp Sherry Vinegar

1/2 Lemon, zest & juice

1/3 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil

1 Tsp Honey

1 Garlic Clove, crushed





1. Combine the dressing ingredients in a jar and shake well to combine.

2. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.

3. Place Chickpeas in a bowl and sprinkle with spices, toss to combine.

4. Add remaining ingredients to the Chickpeas and mix well.

5. Drizzle over the dressing and a little olive oil.

6. Stir to Coat

7. Check seasoning and keep refrigerate until serving.
